  November 29, 2015  / Shehryar Khawar دسمبر کے اوائل کی بات ہے جب محکمہ اوقاف نے زبردستی میری تعیناتی شیخو پورےکے امیر محلے کی Heera Mandi, Lahore Photographer: Parthiv Shah جامعہ مسجد سے ہیرا منڈی لاہور کی ایک پرانی مسجد میں کر دی. وجہ یہ تھی کے  میں نے قریبی علاقے کے ایک کونسلر کی مسجد کے لاوڈ سپیکر پے تعریف کرنے سے انکار کر دیا تھا. شومئی قسمت کے وہ کونسلر محکمہ اوقاف کے ایک بڑے افسرکا بھتیجا تھا. نتیجتاً میں لاہور شہر کے بدنام ترین علاقے میں تعینات ہو چکا تھا. بیشک کہنے کو میں مسجد کا امام جا رہا تھا مگر علاقے کا بدنام ہونا اپنی جگہ. جو سنتا تھا ہنستا تھا یا پھر اظھار افسوس کرتا تھا محکمے کے ایک کلرک نے تو حد ہی کر دی. تنخواہ کا ایک معاملہ حل کرانے اس کے پاس گیا تو میری پوسٹنگ کا سن کے ایک آنکھ دبا کر بولا . قبلہ مولوی صاحب، آپ کی تو گویا پانچوں انگلیاں گھی میں اور سر کڑاہی میں.’ میں تو گویا زمین میں چھ فٹ نیچے گڑ گیا’  پھر الله بھلا کرے میری بیوی کا جس نے مجھے تسلی دی اور سمجھایا کے   امامت ہی توہے، کسی بھی مسجد میں سہی. اور ...
