Pain. What is pain?? Being a woman I frequently asked such questions, may be I am doing this because I have been treated by centuries injected with pain or I the only creature created to talk, to feel or to experience pain.  Some time I ask to my self and also those who has been practicing it in their lives every day. I got answers that pain is given by divine force, nature or God has all rights to put us in examinations to check our abilities of coping. Some time I told that this is the true essence of life we can not get escape from pain because it makes our lives balanced that we have happiness then we have some thing irritating too. It is also a sheer mode of Ecstasy told by some one.
But these all answers were not successful to satisfy my instincts, my curiosity about pain. I was not able to find the exact answer which can be tag line of pain. Perhaps I found my answer on news channel with breaking news that Sharmeen Chinoi, Pakistani film director got Oscar Award for her documentary Burning Faces. I was feeling proud that a woman was successful to get Oscar Award for the first time in the history of Pakistan. I was also proud that many men were crying over such success of woman even they have tried a lot to lock up women’s freedom and her mind to only their submission. Then how a woman got escape and reached on such a highest peak of Dignity? This question has been irritating and will always to those who have tried to make women their psychological, sexual, social, economical slaves.
Well, I found every news channel in Pakistan celebrating victory, time again and again I saw green flags on the television. Incidentally I was in Karachi for a debate competition held at M.a.j.u on that day and in the end of program we were in hotel and watching television. My friend Hurmat was very happy that we finally had Oscar. This was Happiness we all experienced and naturally forgot Pain. But somewhere, a woman cried, again and again her tears were slipping down on her face. She went to the dressing table she has putted in her room to makes her remember the saddest part of her life. How unlucky that woman was. She has opened hers eyes in the brothel without any identification without any surname. She survived in the area where women are treated like material for sale. She even doesn’t know what respect is. She sacrificed her virginity for food when she was just turned mature. Her virginity her dreams were snatched by the respectable Persons of respectable society.
Although she was not taught about love and respect, she fell in love with some one. She thinks that may be she has found different man from others she had before. She thought may be she has got something normal in her life, may be she can live with the dignity like the wives of her customers.
She did. She did what she can for that person she loved, but she was born unlucky so how possibly she can get all things which were forbidden for woman like her?
And now she was crying over her destiny. Her lover has given his reminders on her face.
On her body by the dropping acid bottle on her face.
Fakhraa Younis a poor victim of violence against women, a poor victim of this society was crying. She was feeling sheer pain at that time and she made a decision of her life and for the others like her.
Sharmeen Obaid Chinoi came Pakistan with the dazzling trophy of Oscar. Every one was waiting to receive her on airport with flowers and compliments. After few days Fakhra came to her home land covered in white piece of cloth and packed in coffin. She committed suicide to take revenge from her life. That day I found my answer about pain.
That was pain she has faced when Burning Faces achieve Oscar but the Burned faced Fakhra failed to get justice.
That was a pain she experienced when President of Pakistan has nominated Sharmeen Obaid for presidential award. But not the punishments were announced for the criminals who destroyed her lives.
She waited for ten years only looking for justice.
She has not demanded some thing not reachable. She has only demanded Justice.
Fakhra and many women are waiting for justice. Many Burned faces are looking towards government of Pakistan for their avenge from accused persons.
May be Fakhra has mentioned in her will that on her grave Epigraph should be written  her name as
One Who is still waiting for Justice
